Kids Off The Street Shelter

Our KOTS Story...

The journey so far...

Kids Off The Street Shelter (KOTS) is a strategic initiative focused on mitigating the number of homeless children within target communities. It is designed to re-habilitate homeless kids, and successfully reintegrate them into society.

Each child must undergo a sponsored formal basic education programme, as well as a specially designed talent development programme. This is achieved through strategic collaboration with established individuals and institutions with shared ideologies, including government agencies, in the bid to invest in a better Nigerian future.

The KOTS shelter opened on Saturday 26th June 2021 with the first batch of 12 children. The second batch of 11 children joined in December 2021 and January 2022. The Pistis Foundation KOTS shelter now houses 23 street children (10 boys and 13 girls).

All 23 children are enrolled in schools, enhancing their learning with the support of tutors at home and have their basic needs provided for.
