UBOMI Abuja 2025: A Day of Free Medical Care, Healing, and Hope in Jabi Lake Park
On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, Jabi Lake Park in Abuja became more than just a gathering space—it became a place of healing. Powered by Pistis Foundation in partnership with The Elevation Church Abuja, the UBOMI Free Medical Outreach brought together medical professionals, volunteers, and hundreds of beneficiaries in need of care, support, and compassion.
From as early as 8:00 AM, the park began to fill with people—families, the elderly, children, and young adults—each one hoping for access to medical attention they might otherwise not afford. And UBOMI delivered. The outreach recorded over 500 medical interventions in one day.
Beneficiaries received medical consultations, test screenings, prescribed drugs, and counseling sessions to support both body and mind—all completely free. From diagnosing malaria and hypertension to offering much-needed relief for respiratory and urinary tract infections, every single intervention served as a lifeline.
No one left with just a prescription in hand. The pharmacy unit was fully stocked and ready, dispensing essential medications right on site. Whether someone needed treatment for an infection, medication for high blood pressure, or simply relief from everyday pain, they received it without cost or delay. The experience was a full-circle moment of care—from diagnosis to medication to follow-up support.
The true success of UBOMI Abuja 2025 was driven by the dedication of our volunteers and partners. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, counselors, administrators, and support teams came together with a shared mission: to serve. From setting up units at dawn to staying with the last patient, their commitment ensured that no one was turned away and that every life that walked through was treated with dignity, care, and love.
By the end of the day, what began as a medical outreach had grown into something more—a movement of compassion, equity, and restored hope. UBOMI Abuja 2025 was not just an event. It was a powerful reminder that healthcare is a human right, and that even one day of intentional service can change hundreds of lives.
