UBOMI Medical Outreach

“When Precious was 4 months old, I found out she had a swelling that looked like a boil. It got to a stage where it kept growing. The swelling increased in size as she grew older. I took her to the hospital and after a series of tests, the doctor said the swelling was a tumor. Unfortunately, no one was willing to take out the tumor because of the risks involved.
When I heard about UBOMI, I came with the expectation that the tumor would be removed. Unfortunately, I received similar news that because of the long list of patients already screened for surgery and given the complexities and equipment needed, I would not be attended to.
I came every day, full of faith and expectation, and refused to take no for an answer.
On Day 4 of UBOMI, there was an available slot and I was called in. Words cannot express the joy I felt in that very moment.
Precious’ tumor was successfully removed without complications”
